These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Lesson Loft ("Lesson Loft", "we", "us"), including lessonloft.app, our tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Lesson Loft accounts are intended for adults, such as parents, guardians, teachers, or providers, who use the Service with children under their care. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your region) and that you have the authority to agree to these Terms.
Account creation. You may create an account using your email and a password, or by using a supported Single Sign-On provider (such as Google or Apple). When you use SSO, you also agree to the terms and policies of that provider.
Account responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please keep your password secure and do not share it with children or students.
Accuracy of information. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account and when using the Service.
Lesson Loft is designed for personal, family, educational, and classroom use. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for these purposes.

The Service provides tools, prompts, and information to support learning and skill development. Lesson Loft does not provide medical, mental health, therapeutic, legal, or other professional advice. You are responsible for how you use information and suggestions from the Service, and you should consult appropriate professionals when needed.
Adults may create profiles for children or students to organize work and track progress. You are responsible for the information you choose to enter into these profiles and for how you use the Service with children.
You agree not to include sensitive personal information about children (such as full legal names, addresses, or health records) unless it is necessary for your educational use and you understand the risks of storing that information.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please read it carefully. By using the Service, you agree to our handling of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Some parts of the Service may be offered as paid memberships or subscriptions. Additional terms, including pricing, billing, renewal, and cancellation policies, will be provided at the time of purchase, and those terms will form part of these Terms.
The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, and other content, is owned by Lesson Loft or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the limited license granted in these Terms, you do not acquire any rights in or to the Service or its content.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Service, or created a risk of harm to others or to Lesson Loft.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request deletion of your account and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lesson Loft disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or results.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lesson Loft and its owners, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
To the extent we are found liable, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the Service during the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice, such as an in-app message or email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in California for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, where such agreement is permitted by law.
